2009 $1500 to match Gates Foundation Grant
6/10 $200 deposit for Anniversary Ball
9/10 $124 Radio City Music Hall show tix for raffle
9/10 $250 expenses for Anniversary Ball
10/10 $100 membership to New Victory Theater
1/11 $80 Geek The Library breakfast
2/11 $224 Legos for WPL Children’s program
What are some of the things we have accomplished?
- The set up and maintenance of the FRIENDS’ USED BOOK STORE located on Bridge Street and Park Avenue in the hamlet.
- Provided materials and services for the Library
- Supported the summer reading program for children.
- Raised money through book and bake sales, raffle baskets, and events.
- Promoted reading, literacy, and cultural activities in the community.
- Encouraged our neighbors to make full use of their local Library's services.
